Bike Signal Signs
Summary:
In a Design for America project, our team was challenged improve bike safety in Evanston, IL.
We created signs that increase the use of bike turn signals for bikers, and increase knowledge of turn signals for drivers. We are currently working with Evanston, and piloting these signs.

Design Process
1. A two sided problem: After speaking to both drivers and bikers, it became clear that the root of the problem was communication. Bikers blamed drivers for accidents and vice versa. Our solution had to address both groups:

2. Testing: We were not allowed to test on streets, so in order to test the sign we designed would catch the eye bikers, we tested the design on campus and watched people's reactions
