The Strider is a sleek running stroller that is both stylish and functional. It features mapping to give directions as well as information on running pace .
Process
Moodboard
To keep inspiration nearby, and to ensure that I was designing within the Puma brand, I created a moodboard of elements that represented the Puma brand.
Persona
In order to design a useful product, I needed to understand the lives of women 30-35. So I talked to them! After many conversations I created a persona named Jaqueline.
Meet Jaqueline,
Jaqueline is a 32 year old woman who lives in San Francisco. She works at Dropbox from 9-5, and has a 2 year old daughter named Jane. Between dropping Jane off, picking her up, and making dinner in the evening, there is not much time for Jaqueline to exercise. Jaqueline loves run after work, but that means leaving Jane at day care for a few more hours. She wishes there was a way that she could get exercise and spend time with her daughter. |

Second Render
Although the second rendering had a much more appealing body shape, there was still something missing. The textures, shadows, and details of the main crib needed to be made sharper in order to make the rendering seem more realistic, and pop off of the screen.
I made these adjustments, and created the completed stroller you see at the top of the page. |
